Since 1995, Julie has given lessons at her studio, within Angelwood Gallery. Students learn a variety of techniques, with an emphasis on hand building. Instruction on the pottery wheel is also included in the class. Skills taught include: pinch, coil, slab, and the wheel. Glazing is also taught on the last day of class. Examples of student projects are plates, platters, serving dishes, bowls, vases, animals, and holiday- themed items.
No experience is neccessary, so whether this is your first class, or you have taken several, you will enjoy our class in a relaxed atmosphere. With our small class size, special attention is given to individual needs.
Each class is two hours, meeting once a week for six weeks, plus one make-up week. Classes are offered throughout the year... for a class schedule please contact us via email at email@example.com.
